BEMF      "SPRING" - ing            APRIL 2001

     Here are various pictures of the very beginning of the "spring growth explosion" ... One of the prettiest times of the year. Just a couple weeks after these photos the "explosion" is in full gear, with the pasture grasses eventually reaching up to about 3' ! It's funny how quickly things go from wishing for the grass to grow, to wishing it wasn't SO tall !  : ) It's a very neat time of year... it's evident that the animals enjoy it also !  

Here's the top yard, on the way out to the view, and the "sitting spot". This is where I camped for years before moving here, and where I lived (camping) for the first 6 months when I moved here.

SLNM checking out my shoes... the goats are always interested in my footwear. I don't quite know why yet. Maybe it's the accumulation of so many new scents ?  They ALL make a point of checking them out when I'm sitting here with my feet up.
